We’ve been hard at work these past several months building and testing some great new features! Because we are releasing quite a few improvements, we will be announcing and introducing the new features over the next few days. Here at Time To Pet — we take customer feedback very seriously and all of these new features are directly related to feedback from our clients.

If you have any feedback or questions about these features please do not hesitate to send us a note.

Prices In Portal

It is now possible to show the price of each service and package directly in the client’s portal. The prices displayed in the portal will reflect any custom pricing you have configured for the client so they can see the exact rate while requesting new services.

Prices are not shown by default in the portal. To enable this feature.

  1. Visit your Company Configuration.
  2. Navigate to the Portal Tab.
  3. Change the “Show Prices In Portal” from No to Yes.

Don’t forget that by default schedule confirmation emails will not show the prices of each service. To enable prices in the confirmation email please visit Company Configuration -> Language -> “Client Services Confirmation”.

Client Name Configuration

Being in the pet industry we know that many of our customers and their sitters actually know their own clients by their pet’s name rather than the actual client’s name. This new feature allows you to configure how your client’s name is displayed throughout the dashboard and on the mobile application.

The new option is found in your Company Configuration-> Profile tab at the very bottom. It is called “Client Naming Convention” and there are three options:

  1. John Doe <- This is the default
  2. John Doe (Fido, Rocky)
  3. Fido, Rocky (John Doe)

All communication addressed to your client will still always show only their name.

Prevent Sitters From Completing Events Too Far In Future

By default completed visits will not be displayed on your staff’s agenda while using the Mobile Application (although this can be changed in the Mobile Application under the Account tab). To prevent your staff from accidentally completing an event too far in the future and thus missing the visit we have released a new feature that aims to solve this.

This new option is found in your Configure -> Schedule and it is labelled “Prevent Early Event Completion”.

The times listed denote the amount of time in advance an event can be marked as completed. For example if set to 2 hours an event that is scheduled at 11:00AM will not be completable until 9:00AM or later.

Be sure to stay tuned for additional features announcements on Wednesday and Friday!
